This training will cover the basics of building digital accessibility in website development, explaining several important issue areas to help developers make their websites more accessible from the ground-up. This training will include perspectives from employees at the Disabilities in Computing Program, highlighting disabled voices and the impact of digital accessibility while providing a roadmap of how to improve accessibility in web development. Additionally, this session will provide a hands-on demonstration of how to put these topics into action in a WYSIWYG environment and a tutorial of main website accessibility tools, and it will also offer a space for developers to ask questions about digital accessibility or any other topics related to disability.

Important Note #1:  There is no registration.  The registration link will take you directly to the Zoom room location.

Important Note #2:  This training is open to everyone, but is geared toward content editors and front-end WYSIWYG developers who have taken our Digital Accessibility Basics training.
