Web Content Authoring Guidelines, V2

The 2.0 version of the Guidelines for Web accessibility have been announced as a W3C Recommendation (11 December 2008). There is a series of overviews, techniques documents and technical specifications (Success Criteria). The guidelines have been expanded to cover technologies beyond HTML (Flash, Javascript, etc.)

Web accessibility is created by the interaction of several software layers, encompassing the tools that create Web pages, the code markup used in the pages, and the browsers and other “user agents” that process Web content.
